A winning entry - Tip 2

You now have 7-weeks to submit your 2011 World Communication Awards entries, so it's time for another tip from the judges.

Tip number 2 is:
"...show clear innovation and have measurable business benefits. [They must] stand out from the crowd and should extend beyond just being telecommunications solutions, e.g. into sustainability."

Entries this year are being sought in 15 categories, plus there are two voted categories. To find out more, visit the website www.worldcommsawards.com

This years awards will be presented on the 7 November at the London Hilton on Park Lane. Whilst you are in London to pick up your trophy (nb. this is dependent on writing an outstanding entry!) why not make the best of your time by attending our NEW conference, Total Telecom World? Being held just down the road at the fabulous One Whitehall Place, Total Telecom World is the perfect opportunity to discuss the short and long term future of the industry, and to network with senior level executives. It runs on the 7 & 8 November 2011.

Writing the winning entry - Tip 1

Entry deadline for the 2011 World Communication Awards is 1 July 2011, so now is the time to take tips from those who know...

David Molony - chair of the judges 2010 - said

"The judges look for the entries that get their attention right from the start and are written with clear conviction. It is important to be economical and clear about what it is exactly that you believe your company or product does better than anyone else's. Keep statements short and always follow up with an example or data to support it. Customer testimonials are key, but it is vital to present the case first."
