The 10 ICT companies delivering the greatest user satisfaction #WCA14

The Users' Choice award at the World Communication Awards is all about delivering outstanding levels of satisfaction to the user.

The top ten are determined through research conducted by Ocean82 and Total Telecom [METHODOLOGY] with the winner being named at the gala dinner on the 2 December 2014.

The top ten this year are:

  • Atos
  • BT
  • KDDI Global
  • NTT Com
  • Orange Business Services
  • PCCW Global
  • SingTel
  • Telmex
  • T-Systems
  • Verizon

  • Considering that the winners for the last 5 years have all been traditional telco's, it's interesting to note that for the first time this year we have a finalist in Atos who isn't a telco. There again, it's entirely in line with the corporate ambition of the company that on acquiring Siemens IT Solutions and Services in 2011 said “Today is a momentous day for our company as we embark on the next chapter in our history to become a top 10 global IT services provider" (Thierry Breton, CEO, Atos) - it looks like they've made that happen!

So who were the previous winners? Well, one of them, no longer exists, Global Crossing now being part of Level3.

    2009 >> Global Crossing
    2010 >> Verizon
    2011 >> SingTel
    2012 >> Orange Business Services
    2013 >> NTT Com

Who will triumph in 2014, find out on the 2 December...

If you want to find out more about becoming or choosing an outstanding ICT company, Ocean82 CEO, Janet Watkin, will be running a session at this years Total Telecom Festival - come along and join the debate.

Who will be the Users' Choice?

In 2011 SingTel were the telecom operator receiving the highest ranking in the Customer Satisfaction Index that determines the Users' Choice award, but now we are out to discover who will be victorious in 2012.

The Users' Choice award at the annual World Communication Awards is unique, being determined based on the assessment of a survey of multi-national enterprise users of telecom services. The survey is carried out annually in conjunction with Ocean82 who developed the methodology, and considers the responses of more than 1,000 multinational businesses and enterprises in more than 30 countries.

Currently the survey covers 24 international telecom operators, ranging from AT&T to Verizon Business, but we keep the door open to additional players who can gather 30 or more responses from their customers. If you would like to know more about participating, contact enquiry@totaltele.com
