Less of the Same: How To Sell To The High Street #Carriers World
The agenda for this years #CarriersWorld, the first to be organised by Total Telecom has just gone online and you'll notice the change. There's definitely a new variety in the speakers and the topics and many more networking opportunities to provide increased relevance to the wholesale carrier community.
Like Eric Craig, Director, Carrier Partners, at Virgin Media Business. His background isn't telecoms but GlaxoSmithKline and PepsiCo, so he is uniquely qualified to give a whole new perspective. Indeed it interesting to watch this video he made a couple of years ago "How To Sell To The High Street".
Of course we haven't ignore the big names like Beatriz Butsana-Sita (B.T.), David Jan Aris (Liberty Global) and Mike Millegan (Verizon) - who Total Telecom interviewed at a previous Carriers World (see below)
We are confident that this years' Carriers World will be a refreshing change, so register today and take advantage of our dedicated networking manager, join in with peer-to-peer roundtable discussions, enjoy the end of day one party and much more...
Confirmed sponsors for this year include: IDT, Orange, Yota Devices, Virgin Media Business, Telenor, Arbitron Mobile, Surf Telecoms, and Deutsche Telekom. Find out more at www.carriersworld.com

We need a 21st century policy framework #networkmanagement
Great quote from Craig Silliman, Verizon’s senior vice president of public policy and government
relations, reported by US finance website Daily Markets
“A highly innovative 21st century communications marketplace requires a 21st century policy framework to match the Internet ecosystem that broadband and mobile innovations have helped create. We need a framework to address today’s issues: not local wireline voice competition, but privacy, cybersecurity, network management, spectrum policy and more, many of which have a global component.”
If you are interested in these issues, you should come to the Total Telecom Network Management Show, which amongst it's great speakers, includes Verizon's Paul Simpson
